This 4th reunion, “Can it really be 45 years since we graduated?” promises to be one to remember!  The OPORD for the reunion follows:

Thursday check in with Hospitality Suite open at 5:00 – 10:00 for beverage & renewed friendships!

Friday morning bus arrival to Ft. Knox will include briefing by command, tour of post, lunch at Battalion dining with troops. We will also meet & greet wounded soldiers at the new ‘Warriors Transition Unit’. This is a 224 bed 6 month rehab facility for our wounded soldiers. Tour will finish with visit to the Patton Museum.

Friday night Hospitality Suite open again OC20-69 Reception 6:00pm – 8:00pm…Cash Bar with hors d’oeuvres provided in the Willow Room
 
Saturday morning we will leave for a tour of Churchill Downs and their wonderful Derby museum.
 
Saturday afternoon optional tour of Louisville Slugger Bat Factory or free for open activity. Museum is within walking distance and/or free trolley from the Galt House.
 
Saturday night “You Got a friend in Me” 45 year celebration 6:00pm – 10:00pm in the Willow Room
Excellent Dinner choices & Champagne toast.
Speaker – “Today’s Army Junior Officers” presented by CPT(P) Nathan Leppert.
Speaker – “How OCS and the Army Affected My Life” presented by John Shoemaker, 2nd Platoon, 66th Company.
Speaker – “Update on the VVMF “Education Center at the Wall” presented by Dr. Ron Milam, PhD. 4th Platoon, 66th Company
Closing slide tribute to 45 years and counting!

Our hope for this 4th reunion is to see everyone return from previous years and to see some first timers from OC20-69. Louisville is a great town, inexpensive, and a day drive for many of our classmates.

Please set these dates on your calendar now. My promise is to make the reunion as inexpensive and enjoyable for you as possible.
